The nearest airports are at Bergerac and Bordeaux, but Poitiers, La Rochelle and Limoges are also possibilities, variously serviced from Bristol, Southampton and London Stansted in the UK by low-cost airlines Ryanair and Flybe, and from Amsterdam by Basiq Air. The TGV from Paris or Lille (connecting with Eurostar from London) stops at Angouleme. By road we are about 7 hours from the cross-Channel ferry port at Caen. |
